Can someone please tell me, why do cooking instructions have you frying in olive oil? That doesn't make any sense as olive oil has a very low smoking point.
By the same token, what do you think about cooking in sunflower oil in terms of it being the best combination of a high smoking point on the one hand and good fats (omega-6 and no polysaturated fats) on the other hand?
