It tastes very flavourful. If I do r wipe the water away first it dilutes the taste of the flavour and tastes less good. I imagine this means there are fat soluble ingredient/s which are giving the flavour however mixed with water it gets diluted or is more water soluble. I want to create an oil which has this same flavour so need to find the ingredient/a.

Which of the ingredients above are fat soluble and may be the ingredients I’m looking for? Which are not fat soluble and wouldn’t be the ingredients I’m looking for? The flavour may/may not come from a brown looking ingredient.

Besides that, I bought some Garam masala and fried it in oil but it did not leach into the oil like I was hoping or create the flavour that I was hoping for. Is there a special method that needs to be used to ensure the spices or herbs infuse into the oil rather than just fry on heat?
